“There is still so much in the world worth fighting for. So much that is beautiful, so many wonderful people working to reverse the harm, to help alleviate the suffering. And so many young people dedicated to making this a better world. All conspiring to inspire us and to give us hope that it is not too late to turn things around, if we all do our part.”

- Dr Jane Goodall, Dec 2018

About Us

Lakeside Eco-Sports is a locally owned outdoor experience, tour and e-bike rental company in Kelowna, British Columbia. We create memorable ways to discover the Okanagan, from scenic lakeside journeys and panoramic mountain viewpoints to wine, culinary and countryside adventures.

Founded in 2022 by Pamela Castillo and Gareth Brown, Lakeside Eco-Sports grew from a shared passion for travel, outdoor exploration and meaningful experiences. We set out to reveal Kelowna through its landscapes, flavours, stories and local character, while offering a more sustainable way to explore that supports the local community and protects the natural beauty of the region.

Whether you join a knowledgeable guide, follow a self-guided route or set out independently, every experience invites you to discover more and build a deeper connection with Kelowna.

Inspired by Kelowna’s Flavours

As Canada’s first UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, Kelowna is celebrated for its agricultural heritage, local producers, culinary creativity and farm-to-table culture.

This connection is woven throughout many of our experiences. Our wine, culinary and countryside adventures introduce guests to local wineries, honey producers, farms, artisans and hospitality partners across the Okanagan.

Depending on the experience, guests may enjoy local wine and mead tastings, artisan honey, regional picnic products and farm-to-table lunches. Our downtown store also features a curated selection of locally made treats and Okanagan products, offering another way to discover and take home a taste of the region.

By bringing outdoor exploration and local gastronomy together, we offer a distinctive way to experience Kelowna through its scenery, people and flavours.

Adventure with a Lighter Footprint

Sustainability has guided Lakeside Eco-Sports from the beginning.

Through low-impact transportation, partnerships with local businesses and experiences centred around nature and regional products, we aim to contribute to a more responsible and community-focused approach to tourism.

Our e-bike tours and rentals allow guests to explore farther while reducing their reliance on motorized transportation. At the same time, our partnerships help direct visitor spending toward local producers, tourism businesses and artisans throughout the Okanagan.

Lakeside Eco-Sports is proud to be BC Green Business certified, reflecting our ongoing commitment to environmentally responsible operations and sustainable tourism.

Award-Winning Okanagan Experiences

Our experiences received national and international recognition in both 2024 and 2025, placing Lakeside Eco-Sports among Canada’s top beverage experiences.

This recognition reflects the quality of the adventures we create, the care provided by our team and the meaningful connections our guests build with Kelowna and the Okanagan.

For us, being recognized is especially meaningful because it represents what matters most: creating thoughtful, welcoming and authentic experiences that guests remember long after their visit.
